Who we are

What we collect

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The postcode or town of the job, and details of the work you're asking about.
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the enquiry form, by email or over the phone.
• Basic technical information from your visit, such as the page you enquired from.

We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and we do not collect special category data.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote.
• To manage the project, order materials and coordinate trades if you go ahead.
• To keep records we are required to keep for tax, insurance and health and safety purposes.

Our lawful bases are your consent when you submit an enquiry, the performance of a contract once work is agreed, our legitimate interest in running the business, and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with people involved in delivering your project or running the business: subcontracted trades working under our project management, suppliers and merchants, building control and planning authorities where an application or inspection is involved, our insurers, and our accountants. We also use standard business software: including website hosting, email and enquiry handling systems, that processes this information on our behalf. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into work are kept while they are still relevant and then deleted. Project records, contracts and financial records are kept for as long as we need them for legal, tax, insurance and warranty purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above and we'll deal with it. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
